These appointment terms are for YF BEAUTY ESTHETICIAN INC., operating as Beauty Esthetic Space (BE SPACE), in Mississauga, Ontario.
Booking and confirmation
Visits are by appointment. You can book online through Jane, choose a treatment directly or start with a consultation if you would like to discuss your options. Availability depends on the service and appointment options offered.
Check the service, date and time shown in Jane and any confirmation you receive. If you are unsure whether an appointment is confirmed or the details are correct, contact BE SPACE before travelling to the studio.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling so that we can plan our appointments. If you need to change your plans sooner, please let us know as soon as possible.
There is no cancellation or rescheduling penalty when you notify BE SPACE, even if less than 24 hours remain before your appointment. The 24-hour notice request is not an automatic fee threshold.
Missed appointments without notice
A $50 CAD no-show fee may be charged, at BE SPACE’s discretion, only if you miss an appointment without notifying us and do not respond to our attempts to contact you. Both conditions must apply. The fee is not automatic.
Any charge to a saved payment method requires clear advance disclosure of the fee and appropriate customer authorisation. Providing a card does not, on its own, authorise an undisclosed charge.
Cards and deposits
A payment card is required for new clients. Returning clients are not subject to a general mandatory card-on-file requirement. Please ask about the payment-card arrangements when booking; do not send complete card details by email or social media.
No appointment deposits are required. Prepayment for a treatment package is a separate purchase, not an appointment deposit. Complete payment card numbers are not collected through our WordPress website.
If you are running late
Please notify BE SPACE if you are running late. There is no monetary penalty for late arrival. If the remaining appointment time is insufficient to perform the treatment safely, we may need to discuss rescheduling with you.
Consultation options
Laser consultations are free. A separate skin or chemical-peel consultation is $50 CAD for 30 minutes, plus applicable HST. A separate consultation is not required for every appointment; ask which option is appropriate for the service you are considering.
Do not assume that a consultation fee will be credited towards a treatment. Ask BE SPACE to confirm any applicable arrangement before booking.
Prepaid treatment packages
BE SPACE offers discounted prepaid treatment packages. Subject to applicable law, our commercial terms are that packages are generally non-refundable, including partially used packages, and are valid for 12 months from the purchase date. We do not offer a standard voluntary prorated refund or a refund calculated by repricing completed sessions.
These commercial terms do not exclude or limit any cancellation, refund or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where applicable law requires a different outcome, that law takes precedence. Please ask for the terms for your specific package before purchasing.
Treatment packages are distinct from monetary gift cards and gift certificates. The package terms above are not a general expiry or refund policy for gift cards or monetary gift certificates.
Prices, payment and tax
Prices are in Canadian dollars. Applicable HST is additional where required. Confirm the service, any agreed quantity and the total payable before proceeding. Contact BE SPACE with questions about payment arrangements for your appointment.
Preparation and treatment suitability
Preparation, aftercare and consultation needs differ between services. Read the information for your chosen treatment and ask for any instructions that apply to your appointment. Your First Visit provides links to service-specific information.
If you have a question about whether a treatment is suitable, contact BE SPACE before your visit and ask how to share relevant information. Booking does not establish that a treatment is appropriate for you. If a treatment cannot safely proceed, discuss the available options and any payment or package implications with BE SPACE; this policy does not impose an automatic fee for that situation.
Consent to a clinical treatment is separate from these booking terms. An appointment booking does not replace the information, discussion and consent required for the particular procedure.
Changes initiated by BE SPACE
If BE SPACE needs to change or cancel your appointment, we will contact you to discuss the next steps. A change initiated by BE SPACE is not a client no-show. Any implications for a prepaid package or other payment must be considered in accordance with your agreement and applicable consumer rights.
Refund requests and your rights
Please contact BE SPACE about a refund request and identify the appointment or purchase concerned. Our commercial package policy does not remove any mandatory rights under Ontario law. Accepting these booking terms does not mean that you waive those rights.
